This is the result of a (lifelong?) fascination with chaos, the brain, and computer science, as well as the auditing of a chaos course at a local university.
This should be an article or something on my trials and tribulations with collaborative website design. Not in the mood to write about it now, though. That sucks.
Slowly attempting to hyperdefine my thoughts, interlinking interrelated
things as mind pounces from one to another. Not updated often, but in spurts.
I'm sure it could use another method of organization, putting all thoughts in a database and forcing them to interlink on demand so I don't need to do all the referencing myself.
rpms were considered a good idea for distribution. Kevin Dorne jumped on
the chance to make one for fractroam and then broke down, partially, how to do it. So as not to lose the info, I link it here. :) I'll try to make it a better howto later.
What? I don't know. I would like to make neural interfaces. Look in any cheesy SF book if you can't imagine what could be done with those. They tend to be the center of my own writing (well, consciousness)... In the short term, I'm thinking I really want to make a robot. That should help me learn materials and some of the problems I'll be facing. And it's a lot easier than probing brains, which I don't have the resources for at the moment.
I need a cult. I believe things that others don't, see things that others
don't, and see through things that others don't. Consider me a rational spiritual guide. Or consider it a lark. You will be become. ;)
This was the bane of my existence for several weeks. I tried it
under windows and under linux, with codewarrior, gcc, and prc-tools. I had something figured out, but I lost it. Technology has probably gone far past what I was struggling with, by now.
I would like to write a daily comic strip that I could be proud of. My
drawing skills need to improve, and I need to come up with a system for getting
them online that I'm happy with. I don't want to spend hours tweaking stuff in
photoshop after I've sketched a strip out. Maybe I should do them fully
digitally? I bought a graphics tablet... still need to sort stuff out. I need characters, a plot, and drawing skills. This will probably never happen. And DAILY? Me doing *anything* daily is a joke or a pipe dream.
This is related to Robot/Cyborg above, really... I bemoaned the fact that there was no publication that told me what I wanted to know. The suggestion was to start my own, with help from others. Others share my interests, so why not? To start with, it will likely be a set of links leeched off of other sites, MAYBE with articles of our own written. Well, I'm working on a magazine learning how such a thing works... not really related, but perhaps a start.
For those who seek higher precision in their human contact, peruse a
metalanguage. Devising conceptually simple, informationally rich,
reasonably intuitive phonemes to wrap around any language, we should have
more information available soon. :) I haven't had enough interest in
this in a while
Umm. I need exercise. Aerobic exercise. I sit at a chair all day and don't feel like I can spare the "hour a day" I'm told I need to seriously make headway on my wannabe lovehandles. So....
Well, everyone bitches that clothes don't fit them *just right*. And I've been bitching for a very long time. So I thought I'd do something about it. Borrowed a sewing machine and set to it.
